The Kansas City Current stadium will be the first-ever stadium 
built specifically for a women’s professional sports team.

This historic sports venue will reside on the Berkley Riverfront in downtown Kansas City on seven acres fronting the Missouri River. The project will provide 11,500 seats, luxury hospitality suites and bars that overlook the pitch.

Generator Studio, JE Dunn and Monarch Build are working closely with the KC Current to capture the essence of the team, bringing their drive and spirit to all aspects of the space. 

The inaugural stadium will be revolutionary, providing a space to elevate not only women’s soccer but female athletics as a whole.

Takeaways from this event include:
 - Design goals, features, amenities, etc. that will create a player-first experience to ....coincide with the passionate Kansas City metro supporters.
 - Design and construction collaboration.

Andrew brings a unique perspective to every sports project he leads. His ability to transform a space derives from working closely with clients to deliver on their design and revenue goals. Andrew is a key architect on arena renovations and NHL practice facilities. He is committed to making projects successful which is showcased in his recent work: a three-rink practice facility and community ice center for the Seattle Kraken. 

Previously, he executed projects for the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Vikings, and Kansas City Royals. Andrew also brings a unique background and leads both multi-use projects and medical projects at Generator. His versatility and background allow a seamless transition from big thinking to detailed project exploration.

Scott has dedicated his entire career to the sports industry with over 23 years of experience, his dual background in design and construction provides owners with unparalleled knowledge in relation to the comprehensive project process, project conception through construction closeout. Scott’s intimate understanding of the sports market coupled with his ability to connect with clients, is the reason he is an industry leader, and the National Sports Director for JE Dunn Construction. 

Scott’s experience includes designing and building arenas, stadiums, and training/practice facilities for clients such as the Kansas City Royals, University of Missouri, University of Kansas, Kansas State University, SMU, Baylor, and the KC Current to name a few.
