The Johnson County Courthouse was a design build job completed in August 2020 by JE Dunn Construction and TreanorHL architects. The new courthouse was built to replace the ageing courthouse and currently houses 31 courtrooms, the District Attorney offices, the Justice Information Management Departments, as well as a secure holding area.
The courthouse was designed to allow for the movement of 3 groups of people throughout the spaces (detainees, the public, and staff/judges). 

 Come to the meeting to learn more about:

- the construction processes.
- tunneling across Santa Fe Street to the existing Jail.
- and the top-of-the-line HVAC system at Johnson County’s new Courthouse.

When you arrive at the courthouse you will need to go through security similar to TSA. No weapons or knives are allowed in.

Please allow an extra 5 minutes to get through security.
(note: this building is fully operational, and no PPE is needed)
